Institute of Cognitive Neurosciences

Institute was founded in 2011. It studies neuro-physical processes of the organism in space and time by using physiological and psychophysical methods. Also, patterns of age and neurodegenerative changes in cognitive functions. The institute actively collaborates with the various clinics. In particular, in collaboration with ophthalmologists, the specific features of impaired visual function of major eye diseases (cataract, glaucoma, and macular dystrophy) is studied. With cooperation with psychiatric clinics, mental functions of patients and their relatives are examined.
