Since 2017 the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Agricultural University of Georgia (AUG) is the member of the International JEDI Collaboration - Jülich Electric Dipole moment Investigations. Group of researchers from ECE, AUG are involved in the development of polarimetry for the experiment.
The department of ECE has a tight cooperation with The Nuclear Physics Institute (IKP) and The Central Institute of Engineering – Electronic Systems (ZEA-2) at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany.
Several students of ECE were invited for internship, got involved in research activities and now regularly visiting IKP and ZEA-2 for research and participation in experiments.
In 2017 and 2018 director of the ZEA-2, Prof. Dr. Stefan van Waasen has visited AUG twice to conduct forced lecture courses “Measurement and Sensor Systems” for the students of ECE.
