The Journal of Nature Studies - Annals of Agrarian Science

The English-language scientific journal "The Journal of Nature Studies - Annals of Agrarian Science" (former "Annals of Agrarian Science") was founded in 2003 through the initiative of Professor Tengiz (Gizo) Urushadze, the Director of the Mikheil Sabashvili Institute of Soil Science, Agrochemistry, and Melioration at the Agricultural University of Georgia and a member of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia. The journal was established in cooperation with the Agricultural University of Georgia, the Armenian National Agrarian University, the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University, and the German Federal Environmental Protection Agency.

The editorial board, authors, and reviewers are composed of scientists from a wide range of countries. From 2016 to 2018, the Journal was published under the auspices of the international electronic publishing house Elsevier (ScienceDirect).

Over the years, the journal has focused on agronomy and agroecology, agroengineering, ecological agriculture and nature protection, veterinary medicine and zootechnics, agricultural product processing technology, forestry, and economics. Currently, the journal publishes scientific research and review articles, book reviews, and conference materials in agricultural and biological sciences, as well as agricultural-related engineering and chemistry.

Since 2024, the journal is being published under a modified name: "The Journal of Nature Studies - Annals of Agrarian Science".
