Veterinarium Clinic is launching a special campaign for stray cats

13 January 2026

Veterinarium Clinic is launching a special campaign for stray cats.

Stray cats brought to Veterinarium will receive laparoscopic spay surgery. Laparoscopic spaying is minimally invasive and allows for a smoother and faster recovery. This is especially important for stray animals because they need to return to their environment safely and as quickly as possible.

The surgeries will be performed by Dr. Lasha-Giorgi Japaridze, Head Veterinarian at Veterinarium, who holds a Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine.

To take part in the campaign, the following requirements apply:

  • The cat must be a stray. We trust that people will respect the purpose of this initiative and will not bring their own pets, as has been the case in previous campaigns.
  • The price for laparoscopic spaying is 50 GEL instead of 200 GEL

Veterinarium Clinic does not receive external funding. The clinic is fully subsidizing 75% of the cost of these surgeries for stray cats.

Registration is required by January 22.

To register, please call the clinic at +995 32 206 05 95 or send us a message on Messenger.

Stray cats that undergo spaying will also receive ear tipping. This is an internationally recognized practice that helps identify already spayed stray cats at a glance and prevents unnecessary recapture and stress.
Laparoscopic sterilization at Veterinarium is performed using state-of-the-art, high-technology equipment - the Mindray UX5 4K/NIR system, which is equipped with 4K fluorescent imaging capability. For anesthesia, we use the Veta 5 Premium, the newest veterinary anesthesia machine, which enables precise patient monitoring, controlled inhalation anesthesia, and proper lung ventilation through an advanced mechanical ventilation system.
