Another Veterinarium team member to complete intensive practical training in Estonia.

Veterinary assistant Luka Ghlonti from Veterinarium Clinic will complete a 7-week intensive Practical Training in Small Animal Medicine at the Estonian University of Life Sciences, worth 10 ECTS credits.

The practical training will take place at the university’s veterinary clinic, where Luka will work alongside experienced veterinarians. Within the mentorship program, he will gain hands-on experience, deepen his professional knowledge, and further develop his clinical skills.

Luka will travel to Tartu in October. Travel and living expenses are covered by the Veterinarium Staff Development Fund and the Kakha Bendukidze Knowledge Fund.

It is also worth noting that in 2024, Luka studied in Estonia for one academic semester within the exchange program between the Agricultural University of Georgia and the Estonian University of Life Sciences.

During his time there, he completed all courses with top grades and successfully studied key disciplines such as Surgery, Veterinary Clinical Skills, Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases, Dermatology and Allergology, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics of Small Animals, and Poultry Diseases.
