Salome Badiashvili is a veterinary assistant at Veterinarium, focusing on internal medicine and laboratory diagnostics. She is also pursuing a Master’s degree at the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Agricultural University of Georgia.

Through the exchange program between the Agricultural University of Georgia and the Estonian University of Life Sciences, Salome studied for one semester in Estonia.

During her studies abroad, she completed all courses with the highest grade, A, and took part in key disciplines such as Special Microbiology, Animal Infectious Diseases, Pathological Morphology, Basics of Veterinary Public Health and Food Hygiene, Clinical-Laboratory Diagnostics of Production Animals and Equine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Informatics and Biometry.

In 2025, Salome was selected as a Global-Side Mentor for the HLAB Summer Program and spent 2 weeks in Japan. HLAB is a liberal education summer school where Japanese high school students attend diverse lectures and engage in various educational activities. Salome led seminars on veterinary laboratory diagnostics, introducing students to the importance and practical applications of laboratory research in modern veterinary medicine.

Her professional interests include internal medicine and laboratory diagnostics, and she plans to continue her studies and research within the doctoral program at the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Agricultural University of Georgia.
