A 4-month-old Italian Greyhound named Dobby was diagnosed at Veterinarium with a radio-ulnar fracture (type 22A2).
The patient underwent the following preoperative examinations:
- Cardiac ultrasonography
- Complete blood count (with morphology), biochemical profile, and electrolyte analysis
- Computed tomography
Dobby received surgical treatment consisting of open fracture reduction and metal osteosynthesis using a locking titanium T-plate. The procedure was performed by Dr. Lasha-Giorgi Japaridze, who holds a master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and serves as the Head of the Surgical Department at Veterinarium. Anesthesia was managed by Natia Robakidze, and surgical assistance was provided by Luka Ghlonti, a master’s student in the Veterinary Medicine Program at the Agricultural University of Georgia.
