From Zürich to Tbilisi: World-Class Veterinary Surgery Instruments Have Arrived in Georgia.

The brilliant, highly functional, and uniquely designed surgical instrument system by the Swiss company KYON, part of the Movora family, has officially arrived. These instruments are developed and used by leading veterinary orthopedic surgeons around the world (photos taken at Veterinarium).

With the help of these surgical instruments, it will become possible to perform high quality prosthetic surgery in Georgia using the Zurich Cementless Total Hip Replacement implant system, a state of the art solution for complete hip joint replacement. We’ll soon share a post and photos about KYON’s innovative implant system.

Following its implementation, Veterinarium will become the only veterinary clinic in Georgia and the entire South Caucasus capable of performing Zurich Cementless Total Hip Replacement surgeries.

To obtain authorization to purchase and implement the KYON system, Dr. Lasha-Giorgi Japaridze, Head of the Surgical Department at Veterinarium, has successfully completed the first two stages of KYON’s educational program. After completing the third and final stage, the system will be fully operational in our clinic.

The introduction of the KYON Z-THR system will elevate veterinary surgery in Georgia to an entirely new level.
