Dendrological Park
The foundation for the construction of the Dendrological Park began in the early 1960s. Today, the park spans an area of 40,000 square meters.
The dendrological park cultivates 41 species of gymnosperms from 16 genera and 5 families, as well as 112 species of angiosperms from 73 genera and 37 families. The arboretum showcases a diverse range of both Caucasian flora, such as Caucasian Sochi, Eldar and Sosnovsky pine, and Utkhovari lime, as well as foreign species, including Engelmann fir, Italian and black pines, Lusitanian cypress, pyramidal poplar, chestnut-leaf oak, and American maple.
The park serves as an excellent facility for both educational and practical work, as well as for scientific research.
