Mari Kapanadze will undergo professional training in Estonia
08 May 2026
Veterinarium veterinary assistant Mari Kapanadze will take part in a 7 week Practical Training in Small Animal Medicine at the Estonian University of Life Sciences. The course is highly intensive and carries 10 ECTS credits.
This professional training opportunity is being carried out within the framework of the partnership between the Agricultural University of Georgia and the Estonian University of Life Sciences. Mari will travel to Tartu in September, while her travel and living expenses will be fully covered by the Veterinarium Staff Development Fund and the Kakha Bendukidze Knowledge Fund.
The practical course will take place at the university’s veterinary clinic, where Mari will work alongside experienced Estonian veterinarians and mentors, actively participating in daily clinical activities, gaining hands on experience, deepening her knowledge, and further developing her clinical skills.
Mari is a Master’s student at the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Agricultural University of Georgia. Her primary professional interest is surgery, which is why she is mainly involved in the surgical department at Veterinarium.
At Veterinarium, we believe it is essential that professional development reflects the individual interests and goals of each team member. Rather than defining the professional paths of young veterinarians ourselves, we listen carefully to their interests and support them in advancing specifically in the fields they are most passionate about.
